Asian Lady Beetles were introduced to the United State from Asia to control
aphids, scale, and other crop pests from 1979 to 1981. Asian lady beetles
may enter homes in large numbers, and although harmless to humans, they
have become persistent overwintering pest in buildings in Kansas.
