Company History
Ernie Haley started Comet Pest Control in 1975 at 508 Michigan in Lawrence, Kansas as an offshoot of his construction company, Comet Corporation. In 1990, the name of the company was changed to Haley Pest Control. In 1998, Ernie and Chris Haley both sold their shares of stock to Pete Haley.
Pete Haley—Owner
Pete Haley has been working in the industry since 1977. He is a University of Kansas graduate and a member of the KU swim team. His vast experience and Pete, Joanie, and Vanja of Haley Pest Control - Best of Lawrence Award knowledge can provide answers and solutions that make you and your environment safe.
Vanja Mehmedovic
Vanja has been with Haley Pest Control since 2003. He and his family moved from Bosnia to Lawrence in 1994. He is responsible for providing pest control for residential and commercial accounts.
Joanie Haley
Joanie joined Haley Pest Control in 2009. Prior to working with Haley, she worked in sales and brings more than 20 years of experience. Joanie is responsible for the day to day operations and scheduling for the company.
