Scorpions are relatively rare in Kansas. That
does not mean that I have not seen them here or had customers stung by
them. The sting is like a bee sting. They live under stones on sunny
hillsides. They hunt insects at night, subduing them with their stingers
at the end of their tales. Baby scorpions ride on their mothers back
before they go out on their own.
